Transport from/to the airport to Milan
Milan has 3 airports. Malpensa/MXP and Linate/LIN are both managed by SEA through whose website the official websites of both airports can be accessed. The third airport (Orio al Serio/BGY) is smaller and is situated near the city of Bergamo that is about 50km far away from Milan.
The Malpensa Express is an airport rail service to the city of Milan operated by Trenord. It links Malpensa to two railway stations in the city (Milano Cadorna and Milano Centrale).
Parking in the centre of Milan is a great hurdle. Parking lots and spaces for non-residents are limited and a bit expensive.
ATM runs many parking lots in the outskirts next to underground stops and stations. More information can be found on their website.
A possible place to park near Milan Central Station is at Garage 2000 SrL.
Curbside parking in the heart of the city of Milan is possible on a “pay and display’’ basis (in spaces marked by blue lines).
