Santorini_Travel InformationSantorini (or officially named Thíra) is the most precious gem of the Aegean Sea. It is a complex of islands that is situated about 200km southeast of Greek mainland and bears the same name. The small, circular archipelago comprises the islands of Santorini (the largest one) and Thirassiá that are inhabited and three other uninhabited islands – Asproníssi, Palea and Nea Kaméni. The whole complex of Santorini islands is the southernmost member of the Cyclades.
