Japan_Nagasaki_1_SVARCNagasaki is a 16th century city founded by the Portuguese.

Today the town is  the largest city of Nagasaki Prefecture on the island of Kyushu in Japan.

A part of the city was home to a major Imperial Japanese Navy base.

The city has the bad memories of the World War II and the second atomic bombing, this time over Nagasaki of August 9, 1945.
