Costa Rica_Rincon de la Vieja National Park_1-SVARCRincon de la Vieja National Park is one of the most precious gems of Costa Rica. It is also part of the World Heritage Site.

Its unique nature offers a different kind of Guanacaste vacation experience.

There are 5 volcanos in the Cordillera de Guanacaste (Guanacaste Mountain Range), Rincon de La Vieja (that is  translated as ‘Old Woman’s Nook’ ) being active with geothermal activity and being the most accessible of the volcanos in the range.

There are numerous waterfalls in the area such as the Oropendola Waterfall  and the La Victoria Waterfall.

The region surrounding the National Park is popular for cowboys and cattle ranching. That is the reason why there are plenty of dry open fields for pastures and grazing cattle.
