Italy_Rimini_1_SVARCRimini is a city in the Emilia-Romagna region. Its population is about 147 000 inhabitants.

The city started as a small Roman settlement in 268 BC.

Throughout the Roman period of rule the city was a major communications hub and link between the northern and southern parts of the peninsula.

Today the town is one of the most famous seaside resorts on the Old Continent attracting thousands of tourists annually owing to its 15-kilometre sandy beach, the great number of hotels, villas and apartments as well as the numerous and diverse bars, restaurants, pubs, discos, etc..
