Morrocco_Marrakesh_1Marrakesh (or Marrakech) is a major city in the
northwest African nation of Morocco. It is ranks fourth in the country after Casablanca, Fes and Rabat.

The name Marrakech is thought to have derived from the ancient language of the Berber people that live in the Western Sahara region and means ‘Land of God’.

It is cosmopolitan and international. As the fourth former imperial city and because of its strategic location (between the Atlas Mountains and the desert), Marrakesh has become a vital component to the economy and culture of Morocco through the years.
